This month, I felt drawn to keep things simple. Life has a way of reminding us what really matters, especially during the holidays. So instead of a full-length post, I’m sharing a small reflection about slowing down and making space for the moments that last.
December always feels full. Full calendars, full inboxes, full plates. But this season doesn’t need to be about more. That’s why this reminder to slow down during the holidays matters more than ever.
What if it’s about taking a breath, holding space for the people we love, and noticing the small, quiet moments?
I know how much families carry, especially this time of year. My hope for you this season is that you find a little time to exhale and slow down. Whether that looks like a cozy story time, a shared laugh at the dinner table, or just a moment of stillness.
I’ve learned firsthand how important those moments can be. It’s not about doing more, it’s about being more present for what really matters. Time moves quickly, and the holidays come and go in the blink of a Christmas light. But the mindful moments we create can stay with us (and with our kids) long after the decorations are packed away.
Take care of the people you love. Take care of yourself.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I’ll see you in the new year.
